Wow...how time flies and before we know it 2007 is coming to an end. And before I know it, it's a month in Jacobs!

I guess this has been quite a year for me, lots of things had happened and lessons to be learnt. So much I think it just can't be listed.

Hey, thanks for the gifts! I got all of my wishlist granted (apart the last) and I have to thank pple around me! =) pple like Sujun, Janet who actually bothered to fulfill what I want!

New furniture in my house, some old things left my house and it's for great things to come! Awaiting greater revamps @ my place!

So everyone asked how's Christmas. Nothing really too much...spent eve with my neighbours and reached home before 1am - certainly not what is to be expected of me, isn't it? ;) And Desy is back from Indonesia! Met her up 2 days ago and had small chat and saw her cousin Dewi. Then had a crazy drink session after that with Pat and MC'ed the next day :P opps...

Week 2 @ Jacobs + Wishlist for XMas?

It's another Friday to date and have survived for 2 weeks. Well, things to learn and more stuff to come with news of new projects and even a corporate meeting yesterday. I guess being involved in such meetings does give me a sense of belonging to the team and company, so now I understand why such meetings are necessary.

It was an okay week, been to Jurong Island site and others, learning new stuff. As the year is drawing to a close, the time has come again for new year resolutions and wishes. Of course, my new year wish forever stays the same, as for resolutions...I wonder what kind will I have.

As for a wishlist...ain't much really. For the easy, I need a cup for my workplace (wanna make lemon tea from lipton tea bag!)...for the average, I'll need a average sized sling bag (adequately A4 would be nice) as I'll not be carrying a laptop, the bag does not require to be the one I'm using right now (the HP bag that was given last year)...as for the high end...I want an HTC TytnII!!! WHAHAHAHAAHAH~

A friday @ Jacobs is a happy day - we knock off at 1645 instead of 1745.

Today is also teambuilding day, probably the first formal 'teambuilding' that I'm going through. It's just some get-together with makan and games, so I guess I had that in GSK as well. Oh well, the status is a lil different though. Haha.

And on contrary to my trend of gaining weight these days, I get a feeling that might not be so in Jacobs. All staff are in the same building theoratically, and there are many projects and departments I'm still pretty much confused...and finding a person is simply difficult unless you know exactly where he/she sits. I think I walk like thrice or more as much compared to GSK times - how to get fat.

Haha...oh well, that's life. I really hope to learn more things fast and hopefully up to the job so they can convert me to perm. Wish me luck ;)

This is my 4th day in Jacobs Engineering, and things are ok. I expected learning to be fast and furious, but the first week is hardly the case. Well things are still popping by for me to learn, and I'm managing it. More will come, and I know. =)

I think...life really changes...even if mine doesn't, certainly the world is turning and changes happen around me. Just yesterday I was out with Orange and Faith for a drink and Orange mentioned she is going for a wedding photoshoot.

Wait. Wedding? Photoshoot?

I thought she's joking. But it doesn't seem to be the case, yes you can see smiles and such but somehow she doesn't look like she's joking.

But is she getting married, a question posed. That's a good one...hahaha

Wow...things really changed, evolved, turned. What a life.

Whatever the case, I wish her all the best.

Lotsa things had happened in life so much, I didn't update this blog for a super long time. I wonder if anyone actually tracks this blog nowdays...sorry woh, but I did say will only update upon new blogskin...but really cmi la...busy and lazy!!!

Well some updates lor...

I'm moving away from GSK to Jacobs Engineering, one of the top engineering firms in the world. Yeah sounds flattering? Go there only contract but got chance be perm...so just see how lah...must wayang for 3-6 months hahahaha...

Just now glanced at the chinese newspaper...writes "About 4% of secondary 3/4 students have sexual experience"...I think it's an understatement. That's just the survey group they did, and of course some might've been too paiseh or worried to even reflect the truth...somehow, 1 out of 25 really sounds like understatement, looking at the social trend. Maybe it's just me :D

Studies has been...very hectic. It's crazy to complete 3 assignments and the entire module within 1 mth...but that's just how it is. I have to work harder for the exams as I sucked in the later assignments...oh well, that's just me...so easily affected by mood.

As for Maplestory, I'm a level 84 Chief Bandit now! Hahhaa...well still a long way to the new 4th jobs...but oh well, who's talking about that now? Hahhaa...oh yeah, I did mention I want to create a Maplestory blog...Sujun then challenged me "you don't even have time to write this blog, you still wanna write another?"...haha, sometimes you just don't want to face the realities in life...ok, that's me again.

People say I've not updated my blog for a long time. Yeah, I think it's a month since my last update. So what has changed?

I just formally completed my second module with a gruesome exam yesterday, and Serene insists I get a Distinction of some sorts...grrr how sia?? Can pass I already giggle liao.

Work-wise, I'm waiting for the transfer to another project but so far little updates as few would like to travel far to GSK to work so...I really don't know how I should react. Got so many things to tie up loose ends, I hope I can get them done by the week. So instead of just waiting, I am getting my contacts to intro jobs to me...so far I've sent 2 resumes and praying that some form of response would arrive.

Personal life wise...ehm, hope that everything will resolve by itself ba. A bit too lazy, a bit too afraid of looking at the future. Dunno what or who should I follow. Haha.

Ehm, yeah I've been slacking on blog posts lately. Just to inform everyone that I'm alive and kicking, and not killed by Dengue or something. Had a fever that lasted a week, the pain and such almost killed me and that I've taken like 3 blood samples already, due one more coming Friday I suspect. It has been such, but what can I do. Haha.

On a side note, I guess being out from such a sickness, somehow it reminds me that I should be left reflecting on stuff and appreciating what I have. Oh well.

I missed my first lecture due to fever, and my first assignment is due...2nd Sept! How ridiculous is that??? Add on the fact I gonna be attending both Mic and Isabelle's bday...how am I to make it? I gonna be God...lol no lah, maybe just need some miracles...

But firstly, my illness must go away first...else it's goodbye to my current module. And to think this topic is one of my weakest...die la die la...

Facets of life (?)

Need to rush out the stupid interface for my assignment tonight...cos morrow need to present. I hope morrow morning dun need go market else I might not have enough rest to study and then whatever things need to be done.

Somehow as my studies began, free time took on alternate meanings at times. It could mean a personal chillout space, it meant chillout with friends alongside many stuff. I may also decide to try different things on an experimental basis, probably cos I'm in the stage that I can still experiment and recover from failures...of course, some stuff just need extra care.

Like now, my MapleSEA's cleric is level 38 and chief bandit just reached level 70. It's a casual thing for me to play, maybe at times a bit feel more like playing it than doing anything. Then again, as studies took on a precedence I had to at times kill off the playful demon for the hardworking (or at least working) angel...not easy, but trying is the first step to success.

Michelle (workplace) and I were chatting today when our random topics drifted to the direction of relationship. Not much to mention (the common stuff) but some common stuff could let once again make myself realise what views am I holding onto. Like she mentioned about how she missed the woo-ing days and the feelings - that got me to a teasing front of course.

I believe we will face such situations at some point of time - no such thing as "forever honeymoon", it will drift off as people tend to know each other much better and relax at a point of time. As such, when we choose to be together with someone, we should just stick to the guns and try to be accepting...unless of course the changes are bent way too much out of proportion. Haha.

My above point could be right, could be wrong. What has been "less attention" could have been placed in other places like "love, care and concern, responsibiliy, commitment" or maybe "possessiveness, pride, dependancy"...it all depends, isn't it? Nothing too much about being "too good" or "too bad" - it's just what we prefer in life.

Writing the "forever honeymoon" theory brought me to think about my brother, who once claimed it is possible to let a relationship "stay similarly" throughout the first few years. It is not really practically unless you have 101% nothing to hide, or you have found a perfect partner (which itself is impractical). Just look at what is happening now to him, I can plainly scoff off that theory.

True, no honeymoon theory, but it takes two to clap, it takes both to maintain a longlasting relationship going through the tests of time into "eternity".

As my brother came into the picture of my blog post, almost nothing good can come out - it will most guarantee mean another ranting session or some sort of post which sees light to how he is and how everyone is handling.

Nowadays as my mum talks about him, I've held myself back much lesser than I used to in the past. In the past I defend for him, now I am speechless. I've seen years gone by, from myself a kid to this moment that I work...sometimes I wonder if I am becoming more unfeeling...but maybe it's more like I'm giving up on him.

All his stupid promises, blablabla succeeds even lesser possibility than a Scroll of Attack on Dagger 10% (Maplers will know what I mean)...I really tend to lose hope in him more and more. I believe more pressure must be exerted on him.

He always asked why his account now unable to play some games as "administrator access is required" and told me to solve it, which I've pushed it away time and again. I've downgraded his access so that he cannot do stupid changes to the system, and it seems that my system has lesser problems and downtime!

I'm planning to do maintenance on system, I guess I'll get him to backup whatever stuff he has before I plan the BIG BOOM. And I need to tell him that I'm not going to let him use the system until he does what is needed to be done. I think I've gave him way too much chances.

It's really so much more a convenience without him at home, seriously. He just creates more problems when he is...gets on me, I really wonder why all these has to happen on our family when mum and dad are seemingly the best parents that one could ever have. He's just taking things for granted bloody way too much.

Oh well, that's life.

The song is not bad, a bit Jay-ish feeling but since it's JJ you get the JJ feeling so...yeah it's a good try. Since the video was such a hooha, I think the company has achieved its aim of promoting the song and album. Haha...

The weekend was ehm, kinda...I dunno how to describe it. Friday was work but no studies (hehe) but met up with groupmates to discuss the assignment...then Saturday went to market with mom...den stayed at home to maple a bit...(yeah cleric lvl 37 le) then went out with Orange for a movie...Jap animation in fact. It's "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" - it's not bad, though for people who expects a big story will be a little disappointed. This animation is a bit more reflecting on the people who uses unparalleled powers without proper consideration, and how some decisions in life could affect everything else not in your control...not everything can be undone in a way.

As she wasn't in the best of moods, somehow my mood got affected even though I was trying to make her better...I guess a short turning point would be the strawberry smoothie - took me like 3 hours plus just to see her smile for the first time yesterday - something which is unbearable to my standards. I'm a "happy fruit" in general and can't stand melancholy too much in usual circumstances. In usual times I'll send her back and stuff but I think due to the mood and stuff I left her to go back home first (sorry abt it =x) while I wandered in the streets a little and ended up at ZoneX and PC Bunk...saw Ivan and Vanessa (separately)...and Eddy...haiz. Hearing what Eddy said to me, I hear also sian. Say what his mother confronted my brother (abt money issues again, what else?), den I just snapped back in relaxing fashion, "Is that any of my business?"

This is just how much I face my brother's issues nowadays. He's almost hopeless.

Back home, mapled a little...slpt.

Now at workplace executing PM...probably meeting up Adeline and co. in the evening for dinner I guess. Oh well, a lot of thoughts being sorted out yesterday...dunno if I can put them in place for execution.

One week already??

Time flies, I didn't even notice it's already a week off my previous blog entry.

That thursday, I went KTV with Pat, her mum, Jordan, someone (forgot her name but I seen before) and Orange...sang till 12+am then took cab home.

Friday...it was a Dbl O night with Pat, Orange and Ben.

Saturday...studies...then went out with Sharon to walk around a bit...then home...

Sunday...did what ah? Oh yeah was slacking at home without knowing what to do, then Adeline smsed me a bit then I got to know that they were shopping...then I asked why didn't ask me to go...ended up I met up with them...haha. Them = Adeline, Serene and Jean (the latter ones I knew them from Dbl O during Adeline's last visit). Walked quite a bit in Far East Plaza, talk a lot of cock, den went Paragon...yeah just like that. Then took Jean's friend's red WRX home. Haha.

Work days are boring - either work or study usually. Today I got my leave, so I went to pay a visit to Sujun. Her baby is soooo cute! =) but she's like sleeping longer than expected all thanks to my expert and relentless rocking of the hammock...hahaha...

Been almost a week since my last update, well studies has been pretty 'siong', a lot of concepts to grasp and understand, trying my very best to follow up. Tutorials had been ok so far, but I anticipate worse things up ahead so I should buck up.

Last week...well...Friday was a lecture, Saturday was a tutorial, so after that I went to PS to buy some stuff and had early dinner. Not very sure of my day, I msged Daniel of the night's programmes. Ended up he said some place in MS that I'm not sure of.

So the night came, we ended ourselves in Istana Park for our usual drinking, then off we went to Teddy Bez. What? It's a techno joint newly opened at MS, and to think that Rusty (ex-Paralist) was involved in the Techno-dance competition...however it was sad that due to military obligations he was not able to attend the Semis and it was an automatic walkover. We all got eyes lah...one look can tell he's the best on the floor.

Anyway...the place closed at 3am (zzz), sat a lil at the coffeeshop and off home we went (NR8 - surprise!).

Sunday...lazy day...stayed home the whole time apart from accompanying mum to the marketplace, and ordered pizza for dinner at night. That's just it.

OH yea...my Bandit in MapleSEA is finally LEVEL 70!!! WooO~~~ but not yet job change. Zzzz...hahaha...but current clothing look stupid leh...hahaha...

So now is Job Change > Band of Thieves > Assaulter > lvl 100!!!

Being back with what I like best about studying - programming

Being back into what I love to do is a good thing.

Programming is one of them, and it's back into the game with VB.Net yesterday! Having VB6 background is truly a plus point (alongside my rather stable syntax memory) as I managed to go through the "refresher" course without much problems. Skipped through the very basics and got on the advanced questions - it's not too advanced, just the number guessing game. With MSDN equipped, what can go wrong?

But of cos, VB6 and the .Net architecture is different (.Net is OOP) so I got to get adjusted back into the OO environment - the one and only programming language that I've done OO was C++, and that wasn't very exhaustive practice even though I probably got like a B or something in that subject during my poly days.

Gosh, I am soooo excited about programming! Being back in the game gives me good confidence in my assignment and practical test which totals up to 50%!!! It just means so long I do some studying for my theory, I will not have an issue passing this module! Hooo~~!!!

Well, more challenges to come I know, but bring it on. =) the programming, that is. Hahaha.

Midweek again, lil tired

Let's see...last update ended on Friday afternoon, so lemme see...

On Friday evening I was hanging around at JP and was msging Orange, then she told me she's going down clubbing with Faith. Went home and prepared, then went to Marina Square's Sakae to meet them...makan that lil bit, then after waiting a bit for Orange to makeup we took Ben's car down Dbl O and clubbed till 2+am...

Saturday...zzz...woke up and accompanied mum to the physio, den makan at the foodcourt (almost zero appetite but full of thirst - overdose of aircon + alcohol maybe?)...then back home, zzz-ed the afternoon off, woke up to maple and net a bit before arranging to go out wif Virneige to scout for Tilong's bday gift. By the time we're done, I noticed I'm being attacked by unknown substances which caused quite a bit of rashes on my body so feeling a lil unwell, I went back early (like 10 something on a saturday???) and unable to join Orange and Joy for 'dinner-supper'.

Sunday...woke up, see rashes, slpt...till no rashes. Haha...maple and net, den waited a lil, preped myself for Tilong's bday BBQ, den met up with Minhui (my primary school classmate) and Virneige downstairs and went to the BBQ together. Nothing too much, just that Minhui left like 11+pm and Vir and I continued chatting till 1am. LOL.

Monday...work lor. After work went to PSB Academy for my first day of studying after like, ehm 5-6 years?? The lecturer was fine, the class was very packed which was quite an opener to me...and the lecturer used up 1/4 of the total course notes on the first lesson. Kinda cool eh. Today will be my first tutorial...hehe =) wish me luck on VB.Net =)

Good thing or bad thing first?

Bad things...well nothing too much really, got shot multiple arrows today to do quite some stuff. Now still waiting for vendor to arrive.

Good things...

I've approached my manager for a transfer of project away from GSK. From what I hear, there is another project with regards to contract, vendor and project management, which is certainly a direction I would love to try! With that type of experience in me, my resume will be more geared towards a managerial role! If say I could get on this project and last for at least a year over, I'll be so well equipped wif actual skills as well as my degree (if I can survive passing every module), so I have a boost of confidence I'm a step closer to what I want to be!

Yesterday I went for my orientation at the Delta Campus, PSB Academy...it ended rather fast and somehow I managed to arrange a meetup with Michelle! It's always a thing of me to meet Michelle as it's hard to meet up wif her (studies, boyfriend etc) for as much as I like...so eventually we got our asses down to Vivocity where we met up with another friend of hers, Jocelyn (whom I've met before about 2 years back) and we went to the open area to sit and chat. Good times end fast, time to go home, yeah that's just it.

I appreciate every moment out with my close and loved ones.

[ Updated 1520 hours ] Another good - I got my company to deduct the extra bonus in 2 installments. At least I can eat better-tasting grass. Haha.

Forgot to tell all of my readers that I went reservice last week. Then again, most people close to me would've already known.

For that weekend before reservice, I had Pat and Jordan at my place mapling and stuff. Haha sunday was a day for me to go Chinatown to swap the handphone, den tried finding army stuff but didn't manage to...the day dwindled pretty fast and I packed my army stuff till 3+am, den woke up around 6am and left home for my 5-day ICT.

First ICT was...well, rather slack. Haha...of cos there were the busy times but overall it's rather relaxed, more like a breakaway. Well I got what I wanted which was to drive my vehicle outfield!!! People think I'm crazy to be anticipative of such things but maybe cos I dun have a civilian license to drive, that part of the driving me is satisfied!

Back to civilian life, heard usual rants from my mum after being back from ICT, saturday went Dbl O...sunday...dwiddled life away as well before celebrating Father's Day, then meet up with Pat.

There had been lots going on in life recently, a lot of confusion and sadness...but at least till today, everything seemed ok. Well...I hope so.

So getting off from last Friday, went Vivocity with Isabelle and shopped - she shopped. Haha...she bought like stuff amounting to almost $300 or so I think...haha...well, that's the power of GSS (Great Singapore Sale)...

...then again, that effect got to me. Saturday...went PC Show with Yuling and Huimin (neighbours) and bought a keyboard @ $12 and webcam @ $29. The webcam is not bad, has lighting and mike by itself! Keyboard also beh pai. Out of CA, den go toilet...den Orange suggested me to change to the top I bought cos I was wearing rather casual...so I did lor...den heng got Yuling help me bring back the stuff so I can go clubbing with Orange empty-handed...hahaha...den waited for Orange to "decorate" herself for like 20 mins, then went to wait for cab...haha, ain't too bad really (and fortunately)...and off we went Dbl O.

Reached there...wah! Culture shock! So few people! So unlike the Weds situation! Went in and looked for Isabelle(s) and fren, sat down and chatted...lol den from random stuff we started talking about Maple...den Orange was like half zzz but she found it pretty amusing when we were talking abt Showa's enemies...the Ah Peh, Ah Ma and Ah Lians! LOL!...

After that, went to look for Adeline and Joe (LSX pple)...wah, tonight is not Isabelle liao...tonight become Adeline liao...super hyper lady, jump and dance around, pull people to dance wif her lor...haha...den played "5-10" wif Isabelle #2..so funny...I think my coordination wif Orange too good liao...ended up Isabelle #2 have to drink so much...haha...den after that Isabelle #1 left...den we hang a while before Orange and I went down O Bar...

O Bar...Orange also didn't dance much, just sat on the sofa and chilled, chatted and drank beer and ate her fave popcorn...hahaha...den Adeline and Joe came down a while and left...den after a bit while den we went home...sent her home before I went home...collapsed...hahaha

Sunday...oh, went to PS area wif bro and almost waste time dere lor...when Sharon called me den we met for dinner, den we walked down Wisma Atria...and I bought another top from Topman...HAHAHA...while she bought a top from Forever 21...yeah...den sent her home, den I went home...

Monday...after work met up wif Jordan and Pat, went to Sim Lim and managed to get a harddisk for Jordan's T30 and replaced it...and worked...haha good one...

After work on Wed, I went back home to take a bath and stuff...den took bus down to Orchard to look for Orange who was having dinner wif Faith. So joined them in jap food, then chatted for quite a bit, den walk and walk, Faith went off...den Orange and I walked to Mandarin and Orange went to doll herself up for half an hour with me doing anything conceivable to break the boredom. After that we tried waiting for cab at Mandarin...too few...so we walked over Heeren and waited for cabs...den took cab down Dbl O.

Wow. WOW. WOW!!! OMG the queue was ridiculously long! It is the longest queue I've seen to date, and Orange said it reminded her of the haydays of Dbl O...OMG. Then as all of us slowly met up together, we took turns queuing which going into Tivoli to have some beer and chat...and aircon. We queued from 11+pm...

...till 2am. OMG. Then went in...tried finding a LSX member which we did, den did some intros, blablabla...actually the whole thing went too fast, the night just faded away. But...something I can never forget...

...was what happened to Isabelle. She got herself dead high and drunk, I couldn't even understand 80% of what she says...and to think I had to handle her, take care of her...wah siong ah!!! -.- but what to do...good fren mah...:)

Reached home abt 5+...

Next day, woke up, mapled, then went to PC Show! Got myself a 4gb thumbdrive...den we went to makan at Genki Sushi in Marina Sq...den went shopping...but nothing much...den went home...reached home nearly 12mn liao.

Zzz...tonite still going out shopping wif Belle again...hahaha..

Another week of mapling, nothing overly fascinating apart the fact I went to see the doctor about my cough which lasted for over a month, and it got worse by the day.

Doc: "Let me see your throat"

Doc: "You got mucus dripping behind your throat!"

What an elaboration. Gross. Got antibiotics to clear my throat, some pills to clear the cold, got myself to bed earlier on wkdays, drank more water...so much better now to say the least.

Thursday met up wif Orange and Faith was around too, then walked a bit in Heeren then Faith and her friend went off, me and Orange had dinner @ Villa'ge (ex-Marche)...talk a lot of crap, den go Cineleisure ard 10pm can still get a top for herself...then go home...

Then saturday Pat came my place to have dinner - Mui Chye wif Duck wings...yum yum =)

Ytd went out wif bro to PS see pple play game. LOL.

That's my week. Boring? Yeah, kinda.

But soon not much chance liao. Got my studies schedule...

Week of mapling, nothing too much. Haha.

On friday is Jess (Pat's fren) birthday, so off we went Dbl O. Met up wif Pat around 9pm, and confirmed going were Orange and Faith but they will be there only later. So went makan, den took cab down to Dbl O, got free entry from Jess, went in have a free Bacardi Breezer, see fashion show, sang bday song for Jess, den Orange and Faith came so I went to baggage counter to see them...den led them to the area, den chat a bit, got a jug of beer for them, den after finishing the beer went down O Bar, stayed at the pool area and had pop corn and 2 jugs Gin Tonic, chatted and danced a little...ended the night wif me and Pat on same cab.

Saturday...went market wif mum, den waited for Pat to come my place for maple which she did late afternoon, den random stuff, den Jordan came as well...mapled till 1+am before going to Kopitiam and had makan and chat, den went home 3+am. Slpt at 4+am.

Sunday (today)...slack day, did not do what I wanted to do. Haha. Please give me more discipline. Haha.

As today comes to an end in 6 hours' time, something overtook my feelings and thoughts - somehow I had to start worrying for someone again. I get a feeling her direction in life is getting a little disoriented, somehow I think it is getting twisted of the way her life is now. I'm really getting worried.

Hope that I can even get to chat with her regarding this topic at all...sometimes it's hard, but as a self-proclaimed bad-assed evil guardian angel, I just have to get it kickstarted...somehow.

Actually come to think, my week's nothing much apart from Mapling...haha...I think Monday I met up with Sharon...den nothing too much, it's Maple and Maple...haha lvl 64 dit...

Friday met up wif Sharon den went to After 5 with Pat jio-ing me...so off we went till about 3am, took cab home. Had quite some fun wif dice hehe.

Woke up sat morning 1020 hours and went market wif mum, reached home Maple, do stuff...den before I left home, the flowers from my eldest bro and sis-in-law came along and dis resulted to some delay of meeting up wif Alynna Jie and thus I took cab down.

Oh, my Alynna Jie's getting married =) hehe

Evening met up wif Pat and had dinner wif her family to celebrate her mum's Mother Day...hehe...den went to Bugis met up wif Virneige, and then back home area bumped onto Minhui (primary school and poly mate), then waited for Tilong and then got another primary schoolmate down...stayed at Kopitiam with plenty of laughter...den they went prawn fishing while I went home...

Yeah. Hehe. Nothing too much for my week eh?

So saturday came back from MOS, went market with mum, den back home to rest...woke up, played Maple. Dallied my time till I taken dinner, prepared and went down Wisma Atria to get a gift for my cousin. Walked down to PS, den left 11+pm to go the KTV pub.

Quite a lot of pple when I reached, so the usual birthday thing and passed the gift to my cousin. Then went in and got intoxicated - drinks just kept on coming, one bottle gone another bottle comes...power...haha...den got to meet Joanna's bf in person, the pple are friendly and everyone just played along, sang along...pics to come!

Went home nearly 3am...=) and yeah, my aunt also came along! LOL! Cool aunt to go along wif cool babelicious cousins!

Sunday...zzz...woke up 3pm, went market makan buy toto...reach home Maple...den Pat contacted me last min to go Suntec which I did...so went Suntec, makan Pastamania, walked back to her "eastern" home...den went back home after that...hahaha

My life is seemingly reduced to crap after tonight, and God knows what I should do with my pathetic life.

On half day off today, so I went home to take a nap, and I smsed Sharon to see if anything's on for the night. Initially arranged for a night out, I woke up with Pat's sms to ask me out for After 5...but I've agreed with Sharon so I tried asking Sharon, whom wasn't very interested with the After 5 thing. Soon, Brian called and confirmed the MOS trip for the night. I checked with Sharon and she's fine with it. So off we go MOS and I told Pat about it.

After dallying in the house quite a bit, I went to meet Sharon at her place ard 10+...reached Liang Court ard 10:40pm, went to Mac and makan. Soon before I knew it, Eugene appeared. Point taken - it's almost never a lonely night with Sharon around (duh). Then met up with Brian and co, called Daniel - then knew they were already in MOS. Wait, ain't Daniel supposed to sign me in? DUH! Well buddies are for life - I paid the cover while he cover the mixers (which are damn ex)...so then off we are in MOS.

Till this point of blog, two things didn't go as planned.

In MOS, danced a bit, chatted, drank, brought Sharon around the place (which she commented preferred much more than St James)...then yeah nothing too much, then an sms came along - Orange. Asked me where I was so I said was at MOS. Den she said she was in O Bar and asked what time MOS closes...I said 4am but our co is off for supper, asked if she's game. She said she doesn't mind, so asked me how to arrange. In the end I said I'll be down to look for her. Settled. Pat then asked where I was, said was in MOS. Then asked if she can come down but I told her I'm off for supper. Yeah in the end she passed the phone to Weiming who mentioned about sending her back as she was rather high. Ok duh.

I walked down from MOS to Dbl O (surprised at my navigation)...called her and she came out pretty dead while her fren Jeremy went to take her stuff. Accompanied her a bit before the guy came out, den while sitting she puked her life out. Then said she did not take much food before that, ok sure I understand. Soon we flagged a cab and down we went Circular Road (Boat Quay). I was behind taking care of Orange while her friend was in front...cab stopped, her guy friend who was IN FRONT (conventional rules of cab takers in a group generally has the person in front to pay first if no prior agreement) walked out just like this. Come on, he wasn't even half drunk (though he claims he drank more than Orange BLABLABLA...bullshit you can drink a lot but still be more sober - I can attest to that) and he just walked out of the cab leaving me behind with Orange. Look, I have 2 bags, a hand holding on the tissue for her, and my other hand had to dig my wallet to get the freakin' $5 bill (look, the cab fare ain't even over $5!) which the driver returned my change - so I had my hands holding on wallet, bags, and my mouth biting the tissue, and I had to open the damn door by myself and had to take care of Orange as well! I AM REALLY DAMN PISSED WITH HER GUY FRIEND.

Fine, I didn't think much about it, had her out and I went to look for Dan and co which I did. Came back and helped Orange to the tables which they were having their supper. Asked for drinks, and I went to get the drinks. The drinks took a DAMN FUCKING LONG TIME to be done, and Eugene happened to come by the place twice and upon the second, told me that Orange and the guy was by the side. Ok I turned to take a quick look, yeah they were there. Then I waited for another 5 mins (drinks NOT DONE yet), turned and saw both of them going in the cab, closed the door and left. Good try, not even telling me about it, how nice. Ended up I had to cancel the Teh Alia (dunno how to spell) from the shopkeeper. Come to think, I'm rather sorry he had to be on the end of my pissed mood and even returned me the money for the purchase.

Foul mood, walked back to tables, and I went to walk around to kill off my foul mood. Pat called and chatted a little, den I went back to the tables, and soon everyone finished and left. Sent Belle back home, and myself back. Had a huge complaining session with the cab driver, and though I know the cab driver was half crapping, he tried to make me feel better.

As you can see, things took an unexpected turn right from beginning till the end. It's a bad Friday-Saturday night. Tell me, good guy bad guy the same. Be good guy get bullied, get eaten, get all these crap from the not-so-good guys who seemingly get the better bet of the lot. I know the all-too-well theory of the bad eating up the good, and I myself ain't too good to begin with...but just so shitty whenever I wanna be the good guy, I get terribly eaten up somehow.

I am so pissed being good, yet if I wanna be bad I'll either have conscience pricking me or getting the feeling I'll get my retribution and just desserts. Tell me, what way to go?

What a damn fucking lousy night. I hope morrow night @ Joanne's birthday will be 10x, 100x, even 1000x better.

Tuesday...don't need say lah, awaited the arrival of 小猪 and was happy upon hearing the news =)

Wednesday...after work went to AMK and met up with Sandy, a new online friend that I got to know recently. Ate dinner, chatted a bit, helped her planned some finance stuff and further helped a way or another - hopefully it is good help that I've provided and hope things won't go any uglier. Haha.

Thursday...home, rest, Maple, sleep. Haha.

Dunno what's on for today. LOL.

Sometimes I really don't know whether what I've done is right or beneficial to myself. Often doing things that people normally won't do, and get a kick at myself for things turning bad at the end. The so-called good things I do are often so able to turn ugly at the final turn, and yet I still do them. I wonder what is wrong with me.

It's Monday, but morrow is Labour Day!

Eyes tired, brain awake - that's what is happening to me for the past two days.

Went to meet up with Hikki and Sharon on Friday after work, went for some walking about and shopping, they have this late night shopping on the last friday of every month but I think it leaves much to be desired. In the end it turned out to be MJ session after shopping with Eric (Tilong) and Virneige...lol...and lost quite a bit...but never mind lah...hahaha =P

Saturday woke up in morning (after a nice morning rain) to go market with mum...den reached home and fiddled the PC, played maple and YES! LEVEL 63 FINALLY!!!!!! LOL. Then after checking wif Daniel I got to know MOS trip is not confirmed, so I just dallied my time away, rested a little in the evening (wasn't really much a rest, got interrupted by smses) and took dinner at home...when I got sms from Orange about having dinner wif her...ok fine...hahaha so tentatively we arranged meeting up 8pm...den became like 830pm...finally by the time we met I guess it's about 930pm...haha! She was in the porridge mood so we went the 长城 at Outram-Chinatown area...ate 田鸡粥 with 油菜 and salad fried dough (cannot find exact spelling in chinese somehow)...ok I didn't eat those veges...den we walked down Chinatown MRT and took to PS...somehow the main drinking kakis not there yet, we made our way to Mos Burger and had Ichigo Bliss and Iced Milk Tea...photowhored a little and saw the absolute bliss on Orange's face on her attempts at sweetness after her post-detox programme! =) lol it was so funny.

After that went over the usual drinking place and saw Jessie, Ah Hong and Brian. Wait, where's Daniel? Stuck at Parklane - with the alcohol! LOL...so ended up Brian, Orange and I walked over to 7-11 and got some alcohol...did I spell alcohol or alchohol wrongly? Think it's the former. Haha. Anyway...Orange introed me some green tea + whiskey alcohol drink which I thought tastes the same as Chivas + green tea...damn WRONG! There is this tinge of 梅酒 taste that we cannot exactly put a finger to it, and it was an experience hahaha...den Isabelle came along and after the drinking session we decided to go Dbl O...

Entry was rather quick, but it was crowded - crowded till even men has to queue for the washroom! After everything, went to the main floor...saw Jess (Pat's fren)...den we walked back the chillout bar (which ain't much chillout - damn crowded!) and bought our drinks - Baileys Milk ($52 - ouch), Gin Tonic w/o ice (hmmmz)...and played 猜拳 (15-20)...den Isabelle got another Baileys-contender + Milk ($30 I think) and tequila shots...2 each for me and her...den just dance and chat...well the night was rather fine but had a bit of things to handle...but it was fine overall.

Nearing 4am, my dad came over Dbl O and sent Belle back home, den me to work. Yes work.

Work @ 4am @ Quality Road. Zzzzz...

Raining somemore. Haha...den by the time I finished work it was 630ish...took cab back home, reached home 7+am..den bathed, slpt...

...woke up 1pm...! Grrr...eyes tired, brain awake...no choice, wake myself up...den went market with parents to makan with relatives (maternal 3rd aunt) and them...eat finish, I went home...went to neighbour's place to chill and help another of their fren with laptop installation...den somehow arranged with Celly to go out and help me shop for workwear...haha!

Eventually met up with Celly nearly 540pm...den took train to PS...went G2000 and bought a shirt with most vouchers...hahhaha! Then we went down Orchard-bound, alongway Heeren, then Taka...den Wisma...ended up she bought herself something as well from Forever 21...den sent her back...oh yea, had dinner at KFC.

It's a step I took to go out with her again, and I'm glad to have taken it.

Oh well...then nothing too much, Friday met up wif Sharon in Chinatown area for KTV...went KBox and K-ed from 8pm to 2am...wow, that's like 6 hours...zzz...

Saturday woke up in morning to accompany mum to the market...then gamed till 6 something and went to Chevrons for another short round of KTV...by then Daniel had already invited me to the drinking session, so I left Chevrons at around 9:20pm and went down Clarke Quay to look for them...they have already queued for the free entry into MOS, so I was the last to go and went to the bridge for our drinking session. Jessie was back from Japan so she got us Johnny Walker's Green label...it has a lingering taste so it stayed on a bit...so we finished around half a bottle and stashed the remains in Daniel's bro's vehicle (which I think is a family vehicle), and went to MOS. It was already about 5am when I reached home.

For sunday...woke up ard 2pm...then gamed...then met up with Sharon and Hikki in the evening, window shopped a lil, chat a lil, makan a lil...home. Yeah that's my weekend.

Should be another intoxication weekend the coming week.

Yet another MJ weekend

On thursday, had arranged KTV session with Orange but it seems weird both our sessions we were somehow not feeling well but nevertheless went on with it. Initially thought of going home to change but ended up I made my way dere earlier to wait for her which she did arrive around 7pm...den went the winterwear shop walk walk...den we had Pizza Hut for dinner...well as mentioned, there's never a boring day with Orange around.

The time we went in the hut (7+pm) it was rather crowded so we were allocated seats that are just beside the counter where they despatch their food...so with the talking and ringing sounds (they hit the bell whenever food is ready) it gets irritating so Orange shared my idea and signalled the waitress (or what you call them...server? lol) to change seats...thing is, we saw some seats at the back so Orange suggested to split the tables (they are 6-seaters) so other can use the rest of the tables, which the waitress said is fine so we transferred ourselves there. Sitting there for like 5 mins, another waitress came by to inform us that she needs to move us cos there are reservations for the table...being patient, we were fine with the idea but she suggested moving us BACK to the place where we came from! Orange explained the situation patiently and upon remembering that the seat near the entrance is vacant, she suggested that seat and so....we were transferred there. Sat down, started our orders and took soup when......

...we hear of customers complaining to the counter staff about billing and such...it was really irritating so upon seeing another vacant seat, Orange suggested moving again! I was fine with it, she got the waitress again to switch places, explaining about the situation again. This time though, I added the point that "my friend isn't very happy about this" and thus, we switched to the fourth table of the evening! Finally we got our hands on the Super Supreme wif the cheese thing...took some pics and after that walked a little before we settled for KBox...sang substandard with our poor voices, and finished at ard 12mn...sent her back via cab and me back home via cab.

Then...friday half day, went to GMP to sign contract, then went to Millenia Towers to look for the eduloan officer...sigh, a lot of things here and there, and still need one more signature to be signed...then settled things, went to arcade and had a game or two...den Sharon called me to arrange for dinner...ended up battery flat! Good thing while I was frantically looking for a public phone, I bumped onto neighbourhood pple and got myself calling Sharon to confirm the timing. Den dally a bit, went to meet Sharon and had dinner at Marina Square's foodcourt. After that we were not sure of where to go...ended up with MJ session again! This night Sharon's the winner as I lost terribly...

Saturday...went market with mum, den rested quite a bit and skipped Berlinda's chalet thing (and making her pissed in the process)...then woke up, met up with the MJ buddies again! MJ MJ MJ! This time I didn't lose much as I managed a turn of events on the second MJ session of the night...den after MJ went to makan, den chit chat...den I took cab to GSK for PM.

PM ended nearly 3pm...well, nothing too much, stunts here and there. Then went home to rest, woke up to eat, rest slack...yeah...tired lo.

Well, half the week has gone past, and so how has it been? Nothing much really?

Well for monday, Orange came to my place and had some homecooked food that my mum made - I told her it's something unique and not available outside so she was pretty excited about it. After waiting a while at the MRT station, I brought her back home (ok I know this somehow sounds weird but I don't have a better term) and introduced the dish to her - 菜粥. What? Haha..I guess most people might not have heard of it as it's a dish that is passed down from my maternal grandma to my mum. Don't be deceived by its looks as I've scouped the porridge for her, and after the meal she seemed very satisfied. Haha...wait till she tries more of the dishes! Anyway she stayed for quite a while using the PC and after that sent her downstairs and flagged a cab.

Tuesday...initially wanted to go down and look for the education loan consultant from Citibank...ended up I forgot to grab the form from Sujun so ended up I cancelled the thought...called up Virneige and found that she was meeting up with Tilong and makaning @ Lot 1, so I went down to meet up. As I was earlier, I went to the arcade and happened to bump onto Jonathan (paralist)...den he jio-ed me a game of DDR which I played terribly cos I was on workwear, then I watched Sangoku-Taisen (The Romance of Three Kingdoms game in the arcade where you use cards to control generals) for a bit before they arrived and we went to food court and order food.

After eating, went walking a bit around Lot 1, bought my sweets supply for work, den I went home...upon reaching home I was feeling very tired and wanted to collapse rightaway after my bath but my mum cooked for me...so upon knowing of the Champions' League match with Manchester United and AS Roma @ 2:45am, I set up the online channel for the match and went to bed early at around 9:15pm...but my rest wasn't fully accounted for - Berlinda called me thrice and Pat called once...so oh well, what to do. Haha...in the end I woke up around 2:35am and prepared everything for the supper and match.

The match ended up in Man Utd favour - 7 goals to 1. DAMNIT it's 7!!! It was such a match to watch, good thing I didn't miss it! =) the match ended around 5 and I rested...

...morning woke up a lil late, convinced myself to take a cab down work. Nothing much for work, grabbed the form from Sujun's desk as she went home early for a rest (pregnant women sure are tired...) then ended up having to go back Quality Road site as something went wrong with one of the hardware which will affect the backup for the next morning. The education loan officer called and said he was not able to make it today so we had tentatively arranged to be at Friday. As I was at QR, I finished whatever needs to be done, and took the bus down Jurong Point. Makaned KFC, was walking out of JP when I felt someone pat my arm - Mdm Helen, my BC during my army days! So she agreed to send me back home (we live in the same area) while I followed her around a bit to get her stuff, den while on the car had quite a chat (the evening jam sure makes the traffic slow) before I came back home. Having a chat with her made me realise quite some stuff regards to part of my life.

In the afternoon I had a chat with Pat about some thoughts pertaining to people of the 21st century...how some issues seem to get more common around me and how people are attempting to come to terms with it. Well...I guess it's time for me to take a backseat - in fact I'm in pole position since I'm unattached right now and should have the better view, since being attached *might* just alter some views of mine.

It's really a great weekend, so what exactly happened?

Thursday:

Reached home, then prepared a little and met up with Vir and Tilong and took cab down to O2, the KTV pub that Tilong frequents. Just so happens that there was only this large table with 2 groups vying for it, and somehow for some reason Sharon brought Eugene (her bf) along...wasn't feeling that good at the beginning but trying hard to retain my cool...then Eugene suggested to go down Boat Quay where he can get a place for drinks. So off we went...

...to Music Heritage @ Boat Quay. Yes true we got a place, Eugene order a bottle of Chivas for everyone and we played games and drank but...what's KTV pub without singing? In the end...we didn't sing and we got out to makan prata. A miracle happened on this night - Eugene actually apologised to me for his f**ked up attitude towards me! He mentioned that it was due to his jealous nature that he gives such attitude and promises that such thing won't happen again...wow, what a change! Well people who knew me knows I never treat anyone as an enemy, and at most only dislike...never hatred one...so since he made the first move, I don't see why I should keep looking at him under a bad light. After all, so long if he treats Sharon nicely, it doesn't matter how he looks at me - that's me.

Anyway, they mentioned going St James but my buddies figured we should rest for the night...without singing? Damnit - go figure.

Friday:

Reached home like morning 6ish? Can't recall...den woke mum up to market, skipped breakfast and went bed after home from market. Woke up like 2-3pm? Then after a while went to meet up with Vir n Tilong for lunch/dinner at the renovated coffeeshop @ Blk 19...Tilong was in foul mood because the western food sucked and the cutlery wasn't clean...oh well what to do. Then we went back to Tilong's place...

...MJ MJ MJ! Aiya Sharon haven't come to the scene so we played 3-pple MJ...fast-paced action adrendline rush! By the time Sharon came I'm down to half my fortune...so we converted to 4-pple MJ...played till 10ish 11pm? By then I have recovered my losses all thanks to Tilong's blessed wisdom on MJ! Insight!

Went home to get changed, and we went to have supper at Kopitiam before we went down St James for some clubbing. Went in thru DragonFly, and stayed all the way till closure, rested at the bus stop till the first bus, took bus back and we saw Vir off her cab and both me and Tilong went back to collapse.

To Virneige: Thanks for being around to help us watch for first bus and lending us your "comfort zone" *wink wink* - love you loads! MUACKS!

Saturday:

Woke up around 12ish as the electrician uncle came to install additional electrical points in my room, also to fix up another point in my house as well as to fix some piping issues - all for only $18! Imagine if asked PUB pple to come...*shudders*...anyway, after that helped mum with household chores, cleaning up and stuff...then watched TV till 630pm, rested a bit and went to Tilong place for another MJ session!!! HahHHAa...den played and play...till an sms came along...Daniel! He asked me for a trip down Dbl O and I agreed rightaway...but MJ has to finish first hahhaa...den Pat also msged me regards my programmes, happened that she was going down Dbl O as well! Cool! So after ending the game at the 3rd quarter, I went home to prepare and went Istana Park for our pre-clubbing drinking session with an interest - Jessie brought her Absolut Ruby Red! Interesting! Then after that we walked down Dbl O.

Went to Dbl O, met up with Pat and saw her "sisters and friends"...lemme think who can I remember...there's a Jess, there's a Jeanette (or Janet)......ok, I can't remember much. So had some drinks and danced through the night...till closure...and yeah, Jess happened to know an ang moh (I think named Wayne) who is in Singapore for only 2 days and he treated her champagne...ended up I'm being drafted into the drinking team to finish up the bottle...so at the very end 6 pple were sharing the bottle...HAHAHA! Also got to know a guy by the name of Tony - 32 but looking like 23. Then we went off after that, I took same cab as Pat and went back.

Sunday:

For once I might've thought Sunday is a rest day, but Orange contacted me while I was on way to Dbl O the night before and we agreed to meet up for a movie and some brief shopping. Being under stress for the 100% record of a good movie kaki, I was short of choice - TMNT and Mr Bean Holiday had mixed reviews, she doesn't go horror-ish shows...ain't much comedies around...I'm like so short of choices - added the fact she doesn't like Mandy Moore, it gave me a headache. In the end, I went for broke and chose "Because I Said So", a show starring Mandy Moore (duh).

We went shopping a bit and she bought herself a necklace, I was looking for my CDs...suddenly she mentioned she wanted the Tao Zhe CD that she loved so much but did not buy it...since I was on vouchers, I quipped in, "if that CD falls below $15, I'll buy it for you!", thinking that it is improbable...ended up we walked back to Sembawang Music Centre (MJ did not have it) and it cost $12.90! We were like laughing out loud - but I kept my promise to pay like 90%ish of the CD (I told her to pay the dollars and cents after the vouchers - which amounted to a nice amount of a few cents...hahaha) and bought myself 2 dance compilations. She was saying about her lack of "skinny jeans" so we went down Future State and yea, she got what she wanted..after some discussion of her figure which IMHO, isn't even an issue of discussion.

Oh yea, I think I messed up the last part because we went to Swensons for dinner before the purchase of the jeans. We got food from the Allan and Lilin's new menu (some new gimmick) - Beef Burrito and Grilled Fish Fillet...and Chocolate Overload!!! Heehee...shall put pics once ready.

Went for the movie and *lucky me* I held the 100% record - she liked the show! I remembered what she said, "Surprisingly Mandy Moore acts well" hahahha...hey dun play play, I got check synopsis and trailer ok...=)

Oh well, that's the end of my fun-filled alcoholic late nights weekend.

...my PC seemed to have an issue trying to publish posts and saving drafts. Looked like a javascript problem but no lead abt it, also tried to register my dlls but failed to make an impact as well. Oh well.

Nothing too much to blog as well, just now went out wif Virneige and Tilong with another primary schoolmate Zhaohan to Commonwealth for some bee hoon with chicken wing n stuff...yeah it was ok standard to say the least, but they insisted it tasted better. So that's just about it...yeah, Vir told me to rest early cos I had a headache...sometimes I do think if all these headaches are normal or it's just me.

Had a chat with Desy (dotter) till 2am in the morning. Haha.

Had been some time I do some stupid self reflection of sorts? I guess that's cos recently I do have a little life outside my own, I tend to focus a bit lesser on myself.

Finance: still sucky, actually has been a little on unstable ground. Anticipating to get it ironed out in 3 months, provided I keep my budget real tight. Has to do so though.

Education: PSB Academy (University of Newcastle) has approved my Bachelor of Information Technology, now confirming things with education loan with Citibank...or should I consider other aspects, that I wonder.

Work Life: Team getting more error prone as cases actually are going down. Unnecessary stress gets built up over time. I would think that it's time to move on, no?

Love Life: On a low. It's ok. Haha...but somehow what the cab driver told me that night got on me, it starts to irritate me time to time. Haha.

Time will move, pple will move...so just move. Haha...

And yea, my brother sucks.

A week past, and how was the week?

Nowadays I blog like once a week and trying to backtrack the events...frankly speaking I can't remember a lot for the weekdays...so I guess I have to talk about the weekends, no?

Friday I took half day in effort to look for Janet's farewell gift...ended up I've received confirmation of my degree and I had to process the bank loan fast...so ended up I made calls to PSB and also Citibank which they did get back to me and some information that I have to process and decide...so by the end of it I had Jasmin (one of the GSK pple) to help scout for the gift.

Met up with Janet @ Clementi Mac about 7+ den we chatted and ate till abt 8 when Michelle arrived. The rest came later and Janet was out to expose them when they were trying to unpack and put the gifts in the huge box prepared for her...just outside Mac. Just so happened Janet was facing them so...hahaha EXPOSED! But she gave them face so after exposing them we went up Partyworld to start the singing going. It was a rather noisy session and Michelle left earlier at ard 11+...by the time the singing ended it was about 12+ near 1, then we went to Mac and continued chatting till 3 something before we went back home.

Saturday...slpt and slpt till about time, I prepared a little and before I knew what hit me, it started pouring outside. Thinking quick, I changed the venue to Marina Square instead of town as per what communicated to Orange and Cellie. Cellie did not answer, and Orange said she cannot leave house while the rain is on...so came to a point I took cab down to fetch Orange (the rain's gone by the time I reached there - duh) and down to town...midway changing destination to PS and checking out how her life is at the moment. I guess as what Joy said, we'll be there to pick her up from anything, but so far her life's pretty great...and I hope it will be better...so long she's happy with it.

Upon reaching PS we went to check whichever available food places, den went down GMask to check out masks for her phone...while she was going thru the choices Cellie just appeared out from nowhere with Brad, her boyfriend. Come to think of it...I'm glad I have no hard feelings for now, haha. Anyway after the masking we went to Manhatten Fish Market to have seafood-related meals...so making small chat, watching some aquatic video in the restaurant and blabla...after the meals we went wif Orange to collect the phone wif the mask, then walked around a little bit till Orange decided to get a strap or some danglings for her phone...so on we tried looking...but not much avail till we went down B1 and chanced upon a phone accessories shop which she bought a strap for her phone.

After some confirmation, I got to know that Orange's going down Dbl O...checking with her, she said she shld not sustain beyond 3am so I agreed with it...Cellie did not tag along so we went on to City Hall to meet up with her friend Faith...then walked to the bus stop, we took the bus down to Dbl O...it was a short queue even though it was like 11-ish, so just went up to Dbl O and shared a table with others. Ordered a jug of beer and Gin Tonic, den got on to start our drinking session...then Orange suggested some shooters (can't exactly remember their names but they are sweet) so after that, we ordered another jug of beer and Gin Tonic. By that time there were like a guy or two chatting about here and there, and one whom we eventually joked into letting him saying that I'm a toy boy employed by both the ladies @ $50 an hour...OMG. I don't think I'm there yet, isn't it? HAHAHHA!!!

We finished everything up (and Retro ended rather early) and went down O Bar feeling high...blabbered a bit of stuff while waiting outside (serious, I can't remember what we said) and went in...ordered popcorn (salty - but who cares) and another pair of shooters for the 2 ladies...den started dancing...by the time everything ended it was nearly 4am...I think. Took cab and sent both of them back before I went back...then this cab driver started a conversation...

Driver: so what are you doing now? Working?
Me: Yeah
Driver: so are you attached now?
Me: No (high enough to not wonder why he's asking that)
Driver: so which one of the two are you interested?
Me: (sober enough to speak truthfully) ehm, none of them. One of them is taken, the other I only got to know today
Driver: then why are you not attached?
Me: You think so easy meh...such things is fated one lah...
Driver: Aiya don't say fate la...fate only an excuse...you not young already right, should go find one liao...don't wait till next time cannot find then jialat...nowadays people like that, they think too confident of themselves, think can find den keep giving excuses not to find...

Haha...weird.

Sunday...woke up with hangover, got brother to go market with mum...den went to sweep tomb with dad and relatives...ended up my 3rd aunt's daughter didn't go...zzz...nvm, hahaha...by the end of it...wah piang tired...cos of the hangover...but overall the day was ok...

Yesterday leh...woke up still not feeling too well, reported sick...hahaha...yeah that's how my days went...

Yesterday morning also super suay...wanted to go support VVIP on site...den early morning started a downpour so I was thinking of taking cab...but I made a mistake of not booking the cab while I was at home...ended up I waited under the rain for about half an hour before I did catch a cab...all the phonecalls are useless as it kept on bumping onto network problems and busy lines...so I was lucky I was late for only 5 mins and everything was still in its early stages. The day was rather smooth with little glitches.

After my day I went to meet Virneige at Lot 1 (thanks Jingyi's dad for sending Ming Wah and I to Lakeside MRT - Jingyi and Ming Wah are users from the Quality Dept on site) and we ate Suki Sushi...expense on her, quite paiseh really but she insisted and said she didn't mind. Well, what's 19 years of friendship eh? =) then we chatted and got on to topics which we went on laughing and stuff...quite a nice evening. After that she left to see a doc while I went back home and sold my iPod.

I sold my iPod~ I sold my iPod~ - $100. Quite cheap eh? No choice lah, online selling cheap also no one buy liao, I got buyer should be silently laughing liao. Rest of the night involves tidying up stuff and "installing" bedsheets...

Good think I didn't fall sick due to the rain - I thought I would.

The week passed just like that, it's just about Friday being out wif Sharon, saturday and sunday with Virneige and her friend WeiWei, Tilong and his cousin, Sharon. We went KTV pub on saturday and played games and such, then we went down to Babyface @ One Fullerton. My only view is...I wouldn't wanna go there again.

Weekend is about...chilling out, MJing...and losing money. Haha.

At least one of my many thoughts got straightened out. Quick thinking!

I don't recall Thursday being overly fanciful...so comes Friday. Initially after knocking off from work I wanted to go home, but after thinking a bit I decided to go town. Thought my bro was ard but ended up didn't meet me again due to his gf...haiz. Then I was about to go makan by myself when Sharon called...so in the end we arranged to meet up @ PS and went to LJS. After that we walked down to Marina Promenade (stopping by McCafe to buy drinks) and sat down, chatted and listened to music (from our phones)...good thing I stopped @ 1 bar of battery as Patricia called and asked if I'm interested to go down After 5, which we did so. Took bus down instead of walking though.

Turned out to be the birthday of someone I know...so we celebrate n stuff, den sing n drank, chatted...so after closing I sent Sharon back home and me went back home as well.

Saturday...mum didn't go market so woke up 12+ with Virneige waking me up for MJ session...so I contacted Sharon but she had to come later...so I went to makan wif Vir at the market, den went up Tilong (Primary school friend) place to play mahjong...den play until 2+ Sharon arrived...blahblah...played till 530pm which we left for our own activities...went home and out for the wedding dinner for one of my relatives.

Thought will be going Momo wif Sharon after the dinner...ended up it was cancelled, so I checked with Vir to see where she was...den after makaning I went to Outram to meet them, den we walked over Kg Bahru to one of the KTV pubs dere to have drinks and games. After closing, went to eat prata...den after that Vir complained it's too early to go home...and guess what? WE WALKED ALL THE WAY BACK TO MY PLACE!!! HAHAHAHAHHA!!!! By the time it's over Virneige was already crying...and from what I've gathered, we have travelled at least 8 km over the early morning. HAha!

Sunday...woke up ard 12+...den msged Sharon...den we met up at her area den she did her revision while I did my work...then Vir and Tilong came to look for us (and Tilong's cousin)...den in the end...yet another MJ session! LOL...went back Tilong's place to MJ...den by the time everything ended it's already 1+am Monday. WOW!

So let's see...sunday eh eh eh~ I was thinking what a way to end my birthday as I rest on the bed dum dum, yeah yeah~ (the rapping motion and style LOL) okay enough of the rap mood. Kenny called me up and said he was ard my area wif Valerie and Ivan...so after fiddling my bluetooth for quite a bit (was unable to get it to work then), went to look for them @ HV. Ended up we walked back my area to have makan session as a form of celebrating my bday (pple sometimes need a reason to eat lol)...so after the combi-crap of Ivan and Kenny, I'm rather convinced they are one kind. What surprised me on this day was that Linda is Kenny's gf! HmmM!

Hung out till 0030 hours, went back home to test the bluetooth headset and it finally worked. The software was with some glitches though, but I did manage to have a getaround yesterday. Anyway...

Monday...well, it was a rest day really. Nothing much too fancy, I went to attend a funeral...I guess apart from family(relative) related I hadn't been attending any, so this was quite a first...chatted a bit then I went off to meet up with Sharon in town. Went to this jap joint @ Cineleisure, makan den chat, den walked a bit, settled down and chat, den sent her home before sending myself back.

On tuesday, nothing much, back from work and after bathing, collapsed on the bed for 2 hours before going up Mad's place to see her PC...IE dead. Hehe. Oh well, another MS unknown resolving issue. Back home, did a bit of stuff, sleep...oh yeah, bumped onto Desy online and we chatted on the PC via microphone! =)

Now wednesday...haha...arranged to meet up with Sharon for chat (cos she said she was not happy previous day) then unfortunately I had a taste of her bf's childishness and lousiness again. Really can't imagine why Sharon would be with such a guy - then again, the girls usually like the bad guys.

Days gone by fast, I also dunno how I should backtrack and blog. Ok...agah agah...

On Tuesday I went to Chinatown to buy a present for myself...

So, between the war of E65 and N73 ME, which was the winner?

N73 ME!

So I got one for myself...really need some getting used to, and some functions that my previous 6111 has was excluded from N73 ME (it being Symbian), so I had a hard time for some of the functionality...worse still, my saved messages and calendar could not be imported to the new phone!

Sigh...but what to do.

So far the phone is ok to say the least.

Nothing much on wed and thur, for Friday I took off to go down PSB Academy to register my degree course. Agreed with Sharon to meet for breakfast at 830am, ended up we met at 915am. Ate and chatted, then sent her off work via cab, then I walked over the PSB Academy.

Guess what? I took only 20 minutes to finish everything. DUH. With shitload of time, I went back home to play game.

Rest of the day went past thinking I still had a KTV session in the evening with Orange after all my GeeAssKay friends backed out of it. In the end...Friday just wasn't a day of K-ing. Orange sent me a msg in the afternoon to cancel it but I did not receive it...ended up was a day of hopes and waiting all dashed after I did eventually connect thru to her phone. SIGH!

Saturday...whew, another packed day but was really ok. Went to accompany mum to routine doc visit, den came back home makan den I play game, den till abt time up I pack up my bag for the night's chalet @ pasir ris...den went out with stuff...to Suntec's IT Show 2007!

Budget was very tight, crowd was heavy...but guess what, in the end I still spent on my Bluetooth Stereo Handsfree and CDRs...so after that went to meet up wif bro n his gf (they gave me a tee - tight fit sia...the pattern also dun really suit me...)...had a game of DDR, den went to chalet le.

Chalet was ok, chatted around and helping out, Isabelle came to join us for the evening (glad for her company anyway) den we went KTV at night (Marine Parade)...den after tat came back had a rest before I went out again for work. Sent Belle back and went to work.

Guess...again. I'm still stuck at work. Servers are sluggish, things are failing...damnit what a way to spend my birthday!!!

From what I recalled, the weekdays were okay...it was the weekends that killed me.

For saturday, it's the morning out to the market again...so bought the stuff for Sunday's event (Yuan Xiao = 15th day of CNY = Chinese V Day)...then I had to be home the afternoon cos mum needed me to do the tang yuan...so I did, and awaiting for Sharon to come my place so I can fix up her lappie. It took her like quite some time to come, which after initial analysis I'm glad to know it's simple affair (format + installs) so on we went to do so...had small chat and stuff...and after knowing that I did not get most of who I've tried to invite to go down MU (Music Underground last day!!!), at least Sharon agreed to go with me.

Went to MU, den realised we needed membership or invitation to free entry...so with quick thinking (it was initial planning, but I hesitated as the number of people coming had dropped) I opened a bottle of Chivas so I could get both of us in as well. So upon entry, quite a surprise we see so much "older" audience but as per mentioned, think they were there for the freeflow and freebies! We too got the freeflow and chilled at a corner watching football. My brother soon arrived and I got him in...and while queuing for freeflow, Man Utd scored against Liverpool!!! Hooo~~~ I was right that Man Utd won 1-0 =) so after a while, found that my bro wanted to go back home first, so he did.

Freeflow ended, we finished our drinks, and we decided to proceed the dance floor (risk of no table for my bottle though) and danced the last night of MU...after quite a while Isabelle came and so I tried taking her in...WOW! The crowd was incredible! The queue went from the front to the back, snaked back to the front and to the sides! Good thing I convinced Irene (the MU lady) to help me bring in Isabelle since I have 1 more slot for my Chivas (money really makes the difference), and so Isabelle went in without much issues.

Managed to locate a table and we opened the Chivas for all to enjoy...what? No green tea?? Oh well...no choice stick to coke...den Belle wanted Bailey's so I ordered 2 glasses (1 for Sharon to try) and as per expected, Sharon enjoys the taste as well. So after drinking and drinking...dancing and dancing...hahaha we just spent the whole night through dancing...

So MU closed at 5am, I went to look for Yvonne who worked inside, den chatted a lil and I went out to look for Belle, den Sharon and I walked down to Lucky Plaza Mac to eat breakfast and wait for first bus. Sent her back, den took train back home (no cab...zzz).

Sunday...BUSY DAY! Went to market in the morning with mum again, den prepared the potatoes, carrots, lotus root for soup...den finally got some rest...

...rest? What rest? Tried slping the 5 hours but phonecalls and smses bombarded me!!! GRRR!!! Never mind...den woke up 3+ and continued to do some small stuff big stuff...

...first one to have arrived was Orange, and she came shortly after my 3rd paternal aunt with her 2 daughters (babes indeed) and her granddaughter Elyse. I guess when Orange arrived my aunt must've thought she's someone special (as per usual, assumptions and assumptions -.-) and I guess it was quite polite of Orange to have even tried to greet my aunt and finding out who they are (but as my relatives started coming in, we just dismissed the thought haha), I think this made my aunt even more assuming. Hahaha...oh well, it's just how relatives are!

I was busy preparing drinks for everyone, making sure everyone is occupied and not bored, my bro was all too happy to play the anime he dled and making everyone laugh, and me was running about washing dishes, tending to pple, pouring drinks and guiding whatever stuff needed. There was just simply lots to have covered, we had tang yuan (which is why Orange came in the first place) and lou hei, and food like curry, lotus root soup, duck meat etc. that everyone is satisfied with...not to forget that I opened my Bailey's for all to enjoy!

As the night settles in, Orange left first, then Sharon. So I had left with Celena, Pat, Jordan, Belle...then Belle suggested to go After 5 which I went as well after quite a bit of persuasion. So went down, drank some ate some sang some...came back home 12:40am and still required to mop floor...hahaha

By the time it's done...nearly 2am.

So, why did I post up Coco Lee's lyrics? That song was well-sang by Coco, and the meaning is rather straightforward...and I think somehow I do fit in...somehow. I really need to know some things before I fall in love, don't I?

...this came as a reflection of recent progressions after I found that someone whom I've once held dearly, released the hold...and gave me a reason which I silently accepted. So then, as I've looked into her recent updates, it seems that reason became more of an excuse than anything else. I knew it sounded like an excuse, all who knew thought so too - but only till last night I realised that as well.

Guess I should listen to my close ones much more than ever. I can never be giving correct deductions once I'm in the game of love.

So 'heng' today I woke up with lethagia and headache...so after thinking a while, I decided to report sick. Rested till 3pm, went to see doctor and checked about my insomnia situation...he gave me some advice on "sleep hygiene", gave me slping meds, den me back home lor. Rested a while...then pulled myself out of house to meet up with Malcolm, Janet and Pui Fun.

Met them up at Esprit @ Meritus Mandarin Orchard, then went to Cineleisure and went to the HK cafe and took black pepper chicken chop...a bit weird rite, go such place eat western...but bo bian, home got rice, took laksa for lunch, what else can I take left? Haha...den chatted quite a lot (oh ya, ex-GSK Lixin joined us) then went to Sembawang Music Centre...den walk n walk to Heeren...den walk walk...den went home lo.

Actually nothing much for me to blog, till Janet asked me something on my way back home via cab: "Luke ah, you depression issit?" I was like no, why would I be depressed when I have so much behind me? Then she said, "Some things need time to settle down, not say settle le then not depressed."

So, am I depressed? LOL...

Seems like I left off with the drama on the CNY days...so what's it for me the past few days?

Wednesday was nothing much, Thursday after work I went out with one of my workplace "users" ad-hoc - meaning we only arranged it last minute. Went down Outram to check out handphone prices, only to find out that O2 Zinc has not been out to the "Outram" sellers...haiz. Walked over the hawker to makan, ended up waiting for a 三捞河粉 for like 20 mins or so? After that we just went on walking till Bugis, then while we were at Mos Burger, Sharon called and she came down to have dinner. It ended up wif her talking about her work stuff and me sending her back home before going back.

Friday...went to dental, den Isabelle came my place to visit. Mum enjoys her presence, then I ordered pizza for everyone's consumption. Isabelle played Gunbound till her fren dropped by my place via cab and fetched her for movies. Nothing too much really...

Saturday...woke up a lil later than expected, got myself asap down to MRT den to Eunos, den to cab (which driver took a big round or so to charge me extra) to reach my manager's place. Spent a few hours dere eating and drinking (had some nice german beer) before we left which Kamisah sent us to Kembagan MRT, den I took train to Paya Lebar to Guoyan (bro's godsis) place to fix up the PC. Let's just say it took some understanding and quite some work to do...esp. they dun have broadband, it gets pretty tough a lil to say the least...so fixed up everything (which was abt 7:15pm) and rushed down to Pat's mum's place to fix another PC. The other PC was in WinME, really something that I can't do much about, but did whatever I can...the network connection however remains a puzzle but some calling just needs to be done. Did some Lou Hei at her place, then after hanging ard a bit we went back via cab.

Sunday...slpt till 3pm and Berlinda called...den makan...den arranged to meet up with Sunshine...I think this is the first time we went out after what had happened...den went town to go parfum searching! Guess what, I bought a bottle!




Yeah! That's Armani Black Code, the scent is okay but I did not try on my skin which was a mistake...I wonder how it would fare? Opps! Hhahahaha~ my first parfum hor...dun anyhow make fun of me ok...

Den walk the walk and walk...hahaha...so the end we took dinner at Cafe Cartel, walk a bit, den went home. I really thank her for her invaluable experience in parfum's'...hehe

It's Monday...working week comes again! It's pay week, and every day closer to my birthday and my O2 Zinc! Am I going to buy it? Well...we shall see!

Day back to work after CNY holidays

Nothing too much for the past 2 days of CNY, this year ang pow lesser, but it's as expected. Hehe...well, on the 2nd night of CNY I met up wif Virneige to sing KTV...wow, for 2 persons it went up to $75! WOW...hahaha...

Day 3...slept till nearly 5pm, den mum reminded me about going to my eldest maternal aunt's place but I didn't feel like going...so I told them...and mum said she's not cooking. Ok, so happen to bump onto Sharon online, and ta da! It's a dinner with Sharon @ Suntec City.

Spent quite a bit on transport in CNY, went down to Suntec City...waited for Sharon a while before she arrives. She didn't change a lot, and her noticable assets still remain. Nevertheless I'm quite immune to it...hahaha...so we walked a little down to the fast food area and had Mac for dinner. Chatted quite a bit, then she said another friend will be down, and later will be meeting up wif her bf. Okay...

...but there's more.

The friend...nothing to say sia...already married, wife pregnant, still wanna 喊砍喊杀, say what must help Sharon seek justice...argh, another self-proclaimed who thinks talking loud "with reasoning" will solve matters - if it did, then we wouldn't be there anyway. Anyway...after chatting a bit (seriously speaking I'm a lil pissed with his existence) we went to the arcade, sat a bit played some games...then saw the bf.

Drama #1: Talk like wanna gang fight (2 men gang fight), see eye to eye, stare stare, say wan fight come fight la, wan punch come punch la, or what "i endure u very long already" those stupid words...plus dunno what backstab here dere...in the end? No conclusion, both parties fedup...and Sharon haven't even started with anything. LOL.

So later, after everything, cannot find the bf, we went downstairs. Then Sharon started calling her bf, den talk talk talk again...the friend extra pattern here dere...SIAN 1/2...den I heard we going Bugis to find her bf...ok fine...guess what? The friend bringing his WIFE along....KAM LAN!!!

Ok, we met the wife @ City Link, then we went down Bugis...walked to the coffeeshop, saw the bf, then drama again he walked away (as though he so scared to see us)...den Sharon chased after him, managed to get him to sit down. Den me, her friend and the wife sat in coffeeshop makan. Friend makan finish, say wanna settle talk with the bf cos the bf "scold his mother"...haiz. Then later he went to confront him a bit...I ate my murtabak halfway, walked there to see how it went. Then talk a bit, the usual loud voice stare stare stand up very big shot kinda situation....den the friend walked back the coffeeshop. I also walked back...sat down eat murtabak...

Drama #2: BF walks to coffeeshop with some stupid glass bottle, talk loud loud....friend tries not to make it big, walks away with his wife...den guess what, BF walks to the friend with bottle like wanna smash bottle at the friend, den the wife walked in front of the husband "YOU WANNA HIT HIM NOW YOU HIT ME FIRST!!!" - pure Channel 8 stuff oozing out 'live'. Then bf say wat give the wife face, den friend and wife disappear, den Sharon took leave from the place with the bf, leaving me with my murtabak. At least my murtabak's not wasted.

Go home, clean up, "sleep".

I could not sleep. DUH.

How's that for pre-work drama? HAHA! Life is so full of drama for me!!!
