Actually I do have photo updates, but they are in my lappie so...later eh? :P
And again, a year has gone past and drawing to a close. Many things happened, good bad ugly, decisions made, disappointment and happiness shower on many of us all the time. I haven't been doing a lot of updates on this blog, so my apologies to whoever loyal readers I had left. Since there's not a lot of update, I think it's not difficult to have a quick run-through of what it has been in 2008?
Jan - Feb > about friends' visit to my place during CNY. There I mentioned about Cellie and whatever had happened a year before. I guess I was right to have postponed what I felt till a year later where almost all has waned and in place. Unfortunately on my latest updates, Cellie seemed to have gone back to singlehood and emphasis on her work life is back, though she said she quite enjoyed the work she is doing right now. At least she got a pay raise!!!
Apr > my studies and age catching on me. Well I've not been clubbing for quite a while (cannot say the same for drinking since I did so a while ago with Rykiel and Xing), and studies took a hit when I failed one of my modules. Fortunately though I had a Credit for the module before the one I just completed. In any case, I'm left with the Project module so I gonna brace in for impact!!!
Jul > talks about Michelle's ROM. It was really an emotional thing, and of latest update is now she is in USA with her hubby and a healthy son by the name of Javien! It's great news, and I hope the whole family be safe and happy till time goes on. Also mentioned is the KL trip with my colleagues, but I didn't blog about it! Wahahhaa...I did post pics up in Facebook though. Basically the highlights of the trip includes the meetup of Alicia, a facebook friend I got to know from an app named "Friends For Sale" as well as a 10km (or was it 5km?) run in KL. Also talked about Christina's Asset Management and her "secrets" and a brief introduction of Ashley's experience.
July's really quite an unusual spate of updates, talking about the planned NDP outing as well as flying aeroplanes.
Aug > went to watch NDP preview, courtesy of Lawrence and Patricia. Did manage to watch it with Rykiel and it was a lil tiring but not too bad an evening. Well, things has been ongoing for Pat and Lawrence as they are planning for marriage come June 2009. Wow that's fast. :P Michelle left for USA, my module with ASP.NET with it (as per mentioned above, got a Credit for it) and our Olympic medal after 40+ years. Also a suggested update from a friend I knew quite some time ago from LifeStyleX plus pics.
Sep > clubbing pics of Patricia and Isabelle's birthday. Of course not to mention my lovely dearest Serene, we got together on 21st Aug (this date is subjective but we fixed it so)...it has been ordelous but somehow we managed it :) and the bumping of Emil Chau at Zion Market...hahaha
Oct > weekend getaway to Genting Highlands. First time there, first time wif a loved one, first time out on a climate cooler than Singapore...hahaa many firsts. Many pics (not as many as one might imagine) but it was really a nice trip. Next year we are unable to make it for any trips for the first half year as her colleague beat her to it, so we'll see how it goes coming the second half.
Nov > Highlight is of course, KylieX! Heehee...it was a really really great concert, and sorely missed till like duno when...I'll purchase the KylieX DVD when I have the money! Another highlight was The Lee Guitars concert, pretty nice but reminded my age as I was in no endurance mode for MayDay's rock concert ethics.
It's Xmas soon (2 days) and I've received my pressie from my dear...a wallet and belt combo, and yes I do admit men are boring, but I appreciated her effort and thoughtfulness as my belt is a near-goner...:P I got her next year's JJ Lin's concert (from what I heard, first JJ concert in Singapore) tickets and she was like jumping and shrieking in joy as she didn't even know JJ was organising a concert locally :) love you dear!
It's the time of the year where I have to think of resolutions for next year, and yeah those new year wishes. Come to the end of the year, I'll blog again.
Merry Christmas everyone!

A highlight to IT (Computer) Security before I blog my usual...
[CuRRent MooD:] Dampened

[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Medicine / Milo
For all who have thought of the notions:
"I'll delay updating my Antivirus."
"Spyware/Malware cleaners are for experienced, rich and busy people. A normal person like me would be out of it, since they will not be on my PC."
"Why does Microsoft flood us with so many updates???"
This is a serious case in the State of Connecticut, United States of America. Links per mentioned:
InfoWorld: http://weblog.infoworld.com/robertxcringely/archives/2008/12/the_julie_amero.html
Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julie_Amero
Blog of Julie: http://julieamer.blogspot.com/
ComputerWorld: http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9121839&intsrc=hm_list
To get a summarised idea of the case, read the Wiki link or the ComputerWorld link. It's something you may least think of while using a PC, but imagine the terror on Julie's face when she was pasted with incredulous accusations from parties that knew NUTS about technology and malware/spyware. This case highlighted some key issues:
1) IT ignorance can possibly get you into big trouble.
2) Lawyers may, and possibly do, get into all sorts of cases just to earn that buck. Even if it meant ruining a person's life and in the end did not get the original claim proven. This is clearly a case where all but the most cruel of people would curse and condemn the judiscation that went against Julie.
3) IT staff just had it harder nowadays - and you do really need to update your knowledge.
4) Your work environment does not protect you as much as you think.
When I read this case just now, I was chilled to the bone, and the heart went heavy. How could it happen, and why? It's clearly a case of so many things that can be prevented but did not happen. The last part of it? She was revoked of her teaching credentials and what I would say as a "going-through-the-motion" legal charge of USD$100. This case ruined her life, her reputation, and she lost the child in her as she had a miscarriage. I would get a good lawyer who wants to earn that buck to sue whichever shit people to claim back so much losses she incurred during the course of this case.
So much IT security loopholes - the OS, security software, firewall, lack of knowledge...wow, that can certainly kill.
Would you think twice about your computer security now?

[CuRRent MooD:] Tired, pain...

[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Mixed 'Veg' Rice / Pokka Chrysanthemum White Tea
Wow, the future's something hard to hold on. So much stress to just think about it, not to mention threading into it.
Well...I know my dear's gonna stand by me, but I can't help but being stressed. Take for example, I'm already not getting 2 years' of AWS and it seems to get going with my recent update of not converting. Oh well, maybe I'm lucky to be still on a job? I don't know.
Suddenly with this update I'm not too sure where I'm steering.

At the clouds!
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine :)
[CuRRent Song:] None
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Chicken Chop / Sugar Cane Drink
For a long time it seems I've not been out of SG, this year I'm out twice! For this second time I'm out wif my beloved Serene to Genting Highlands, Malaysia!
This blog entry shall be the trip to the clouds!
Can't exactly remember but I think we took it before/after the bus trip...yeah I know my pimples...LOL it was a 6 hour + trip up to Genting (we boarded the bus at 1030pm and reached ard 5am...) and we slept on the coach, so it wasn't really that tiring.
She took a pic of me and said I'm Jay Chou. Zzz...far from it. Alicia, if you're reading, don't vomit on the screen - go grab a bin instead.
Woke up in the noon time and saw this outside the window. The light in the centre is camera flash, not the sun...hahaha...can fake off as one eh? ;) anyway it was a refreshing sight away from the concrete jungle.
We are still wondering what this is. Anyone to enlighten?
Another pic on the way up to the arcade and casino-es. Well the thing is I was wearing sandals so they didn't let me in...grrr oh well. Will do so at nite. Humph.
That's Ripley's Believe It Or Not stuff. Well, we got into the place and spent like 3 hours there? Unbelievable! There's a lot to read and learn about!
Like this gate. I wonder how it is opened.
White tiger! Nice :) but it's caged...
Some illusionist got it out and parades on the stage.
And sideways it walked...
Then we walked around and found the performance that the white tiger will be in. It costs RM100, so I felt its fine. Due to my stupid stomach discomfort which was with me for the entire weekend, I couldn't eat anything too spicy or whatever...so we went back our room to rest a bit before we went to watch the performance.
On Sunday, we woke up in the late morning and walked around, had brunch and bought a bit of stuff back. Then she was looking around and seeing everyone has a big bear and reckoned trying our luck at the arcade. Not much luck, my closest attempt came at the wheel (think Wheel of Fortune) when I'm a unit away from the Big Prize. Seems my dear felt I was lucky though ;) hahaha...
We didn't get a prize and she seems a lil disappointed. Well, even though I didn't do it in the most romantic way...
I got her this bear instead. She is thrilled. :)
And off our way back Singapore, we arrived around 9+.
Yeap, that's our journey!

Over a month :)
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine, busy
[CuRRent Song:] None
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Milo
Time flies and it's a month that both Serene and I are an item :) there were many issues, and I believe there will be more to come, but which relationship doesn't have problems? I should be glad they come sooner than later, so we can understand each other better and grow in each other's understanding. It's kinda bad of me to make the 1st month so uneventful (we didn't go anywhere apart watching football) but at least I made a small lil pressie for her...I'll upload the pic when I can.
Anyway, from a 香港茶餐厅...

Please tell me I'm queuing for food and not for tables. Or helping tables to queue up. So sad.

Things has been fine...so far?
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine

[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Milo
I'm glad that things has been fine so far, and with my dear (yes I think I haven't made a mention of my gf in my blog so far!) clearing her side up, it's about time I introduce her to the world isn't it?
Sometime back in this blog (probably a year back), I got to know a lovely lady by the name of Serene, and a year or so later she's my girlfriend and mine to keep :P we've been through quite a bit of problems and situations till we almost lost each other, but ended up we managed to survive somehow. Through all these, I grew to appreciate and love her more...I wouldn't wanna give her up this time!
School was fine, somehow managable, but loads to do...gonna need to brace up...quite siong! And Friday was quite a surprise...went to makan with my classmates and guess who I saw at Zion Hawker Centre? EMIL CHAU!!! 周华健!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I was in shock and awe at it, kept on talking about it during the night...but ended up also quite stupid la, no pic no autograph...:( but nvm...at least saw him in close proximity, also not bad... ;)
Oh well, will pop another blog post once I have the time ;)
Oh yeah, some pics from Isabelle's bday and also clubbing with Pat!

Didn't realise it's two weeks
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine, lil edgy here dere
[CuRRent Song:] None
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Ricola Herb Sweet / Lipton Tea
Actually there hasn't been a lot apart from the NDP preview that I've watched thanks to Pat. Watched it with her bf Lawrence and also Rykiel (in case you forgot) my classmate. Looking at things, I am looking forward at a time when I really see a "happily ever after" between Lawrence and Pat. It has been sometime, but better late than never.
Also had been preparing Michelle (pingguo)'s video...haha of which I am still owing another Michelle (GSK)'s video...I know I'm so guilty of it, but I'm really doing much as I could, bearing the fact it has really been a hella year for me...hope things will get better!
Pingguo will be leaving Singapore for the USA at the end of the month and I will be doing all I could to make the the video is up...and well, not to forget I have to prep Pat's present as well...hahaha...gonna be a week for me! Furthermore studies are restarting again, and it's ASP.NET for me! Rock my world...hoooooo~~~~~ (does the Hard Gay Shake)
Now what else...for the past weekend I went Dragonfly to celebrate Pat's bday...ended up having a hangover the next day...hahaha...so many things along the way, I'll write more in detail as time goes by...
Oh yeah almost forgot, Singapore got her first Olympic medal after 48 years! Though many people don't like the idea of China Chinese helping us to get the medal, and though many people don't agree with our Mr Lee, I have to emphasize one thing in Singapore that people can "oh so talk about but never seriously think"...
"You need someone to do the work you don't/can't do." Think rubbish collecting. Think dishwashing. Think cleaning the streets. And of cos, think Table Tennis. You get the drift, I have my views.
Lastly, it's really Serenity I hope for.

Last Monday for July
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine
[CuRRent Song:] No song
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Bah Chor Mee / Pearl Milk Tea
I guess through this weekend I did make a few quick decisions; whether I'll stick to it is another matter.
1) may not club unless the correct company is around
2) disappointment of a particular person made me quite confirmed there is zero chemistry
The first point came about on saturday nite when I met up wif Pat and also Orange. Had not caught up wif the latter for quite some time so I figured it might just be a good time to do so. The night had not ended for Dbl O and I left home due to reasons...
1) worried about my assignment
2) couplehoods in the air (Pat and Lawrence, Orange and Ben)
3) mood affected by a particular message from someone
Don't be mistaken; in fact I'm very very glad that Pat had found her special someone and that Orange and Ben had got so much closer from my previous impression...it's me to have sensed it so I think I'm right about it. But I guess with such things to occur (add on the fact I had ZERO dance partners for the night), I did feel a lil left out in the proceedings. Maybe it's just overall matters that made me felt that way, I decided to make a trip back home instead just to see if there's anyone online for me to chat with.
Nope.
About the second point, I believe in my previous post I mentioned about NDP blablabla...ended up Pat told me the NDP thingie was just nothing but airshows - no fireworks, no marching stuff...which is really kinda bull to say the least. Initially I got the news, I told Rykiel (who wanted to watch NDP, but actually fireworks in particular) and she was happy and we arranged to be out on saturday...so when I told her the news, she just said she's going to join her mum for shopping. Sounds okay eh. Yeap.
On thinking back of the countless times of aeroplanes, I think I had enough. Convinced it's zero chemistry.
So on thinking, I've outlived my usefulness. Haha. Tired a lil, don't I myself think so?
Probably.

Silence...in the crowd
[CuRRent MooD:] Cold, calm, confused, tired, patient...
[CuRRent Song:] No song
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Milo
Maybe it's more like calm in confusion. Haha.
Nothing much of an update, I'm going for an NDP rehearsal over the weekend. How long have I not been for such things, I wonder? Oh yea...army days I've been so...ehm probably 5 years apart or something...I remember it was during the SARS period and I was in those thermal scan containers to check if visitors' had exceed a certain temperature to be under the risk for SARS symptoms. We had a lot of rehearsals and till to the last day, Singapore was declared SARS free!!! LOL...felt our rehearsals had gone to a waste so we ended up marshalling instead...but we managed to get ourselves to the top of National Stadium which was quite a view...something lucky, perhaps?
Workwise, my first site in charge is more or less about to be fully functional, with bits and purposes off-plan but nevertheless not of heavy impact. Had to appreciate all the help I get on site and from my colleagues and supervisor. Of course, my employment status issue still lingers, and I really have to find a chance to talk to my supervisor about it - no AWS for 2 years sucks!!!
Yeah that's just it...for now. Oh well. *shrugs

Michelle's leaving for the US soon.
[CuRRent MooD:] In thought
[CuRRent Song:] Torence Holler - Dance Into Your Fire (SEB 156)
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Unknown leaves ' tea
Just saw Michelle online and her nick. Yeap, she's leaving Singapore in about a month's time for an approximate 2 years.
Brings me a silence within. What, 2 years???
It just meant I can't see her physically as I want, even as much I wanted to. It means timezone differences and adjustments be made. It means we are lesser a call or sms away, though it is still possible in theory.
Yeah I know she's married to a nice husband, and her new family will take care of her. But well, who can deny this kor who often tries his best to be by her side helping her to worry, to think more?
Oh well, time will come to pass and it will be a month soon.
It will be soon.

The Power of Asset Management
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine, quite fine =)
[CuRRent Song:] Giacomo Caria - Light My Fire (SEB 155)
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Western Chow's Chicken Chop / Unknown leaves' tea brewed by mum
Before I begin, maybe some might wonder "when did Luke become a fund manager or some sort? Thought he has always been that IT geek?"
No no...I won't call myself an IT geek with this entry, but it's not the usual asset management that we listen about here and there. I'm going to talk about Human Asset(s) Management.
Get it now?
This post is inspired by a meetup with Virneige (Christina) today over at my workplace area. I went thru her blog yesterday and found that she's working in my area...only that it's the last day today! Well due to nice and good luck, we did manage to meet up and we went Creative to take lunch.
Wrong choice of food - took the bland Laksa for lunch (well, it's better than Atrium's)...then figure it's a bit early to go back given the fact we have not met over a long period of time. A quick thought and off we were to TCC (The Coffee Connoisseur) for lunch part 2.
It was a slightly better lunch as I ordered Pizza Baguette, then we went on chatting about life, about jobs in general. She talked about the few job interviews she went and work places, and which one she preferred for the past year so far. So then it goes...
...we were talking about interviews when she mentioned about this cab which was supposed to go to Toa Payoh but ended up going the west side.
All because (ok we believe so really) of Christina's most admirable and obvious assets! Here's the small episode...
Chris flags cab, cabbie stops.
Chris: "Uncle, I wanna go xxx" (I forgot exactly where but it's out of place)
Cabbie: "Sorry, I going Toa Payoh"
Chris: "Uncle...please..." (somehow for some unknown reason she bent down a little, bring some bits of her assets in glory)
Cabbie: (glances at her direction) "Oh ok, hop in!"
Wow, talking about Assets returning dividends!
Chris reaches her destination, then gives the money. Uncle returns change while bending in such an angle which probably make us think the safety belt has reached its limit. While Chris keeps the change, the uncle could still come up with "Okay? Is the change correct?" which looking at her...
The power of Assets.
On an occasion or two in her new workplace (she's in IT line so a lot of times it's like 90% males) she will be introduced to her colleagues and those guys, so engrossed in their tablework, suddenly beamed a smile and faces lit up once they see Chris! That was so funny when Chris was describing about it! Chris just seems to be a walking Sun, beaming up everyone!
And on another occasion, she went for an interview. There was this interviewer (lady) and another guy, probably a manager or something (guy). So Chris will look at the lady during the interview (respect ma, nothing wrong) but the interviewer was like looking at her face...then sometimes the eyes will look down to Chris' proud assets...den look back...and forth...it was like WTF!!! LOL...while the manager will be like looking elsewhere but actually using the corner of his eyes to glance at Chris...LOL
So I came up with this silly situation after the interview...
Manager: (talking to interviewer) "Hey, did you notice if she is wearing specs?"
Interviewer: "Eh no, actually I didn't notice"
Wahahahahahaha....
Oh yea, talked so much, maybe some might wanna know the "secrets" of Chris' successful Asset Management! She was telling me how she loved to eat papayas while she was young, she wants her daughter next time to invest in Asset Management by drinking papaya soup! Then nowadays she just drinks milk and maybe some form of exercise? Hahaha...so the formula should be...
1) young, drink papaya, eat papaya
2) older a bit drink milk to maintain
3) and exercise...but that one the details I dunno...so you may wanna check out my links and ask her yourself...:P
In an alternative form of Asset Management, knowing what your assets are is pretty important. Apart from the admirable pair of cushions in front, other greats assets include the eyes, the lips and many many more! It just depends on how assets are being maintained and utilised to fullest ability!
Just so happens I got to know a new facebook friend that have quite nice eyes, she can even charm 55 year old ah-pehs lor...power rite! ;)
Gonna end the topic of Asset Management for now. When I have more, I'll be back.

Michelle's all grown up
[CuRRent MooD:] Emo
[CuRRent Song:] None
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Pokka Peach tea
I guess the main emotional thing for the week (maybe the month) will be Michelle's ROM. Actually it has been such an emotional high, I am not sure on what to say now! :P Seeing her in the gown (not a wedding gown to be exact but it's for such occasions) and going thru the solemnization made me breathe hard for many moments, and the bad thing is that my phone does a bad job recording videos...zzz
She is simply beautiful for the day (no I meant she's exceptionally beautiful), it brought me backwards to the past about how she'd grown up.
Seeing her from her sec sch days, time really flies so fast it's hard to imagine it's like 5 years or so...now seeing her married really brought a lot of thoughts in my mind...like how we got to know each other from IRC and eventually we still are godsiblings, forever and ever. Guess this is how life is, marvelous in ways and another.
As what I said, I can only wish the best for her.
I have not updated any post of my first ever relaxed overnight overseas trip to KL! Will update soon!

A rainy day at Jurong Island
[CuRRent MooD:] Rainy
[CuRRent Song:] VA - Eurodance 23 2008
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Milo
Just a random post since it has been quite some time I've blogged. Oh well, I guess there ain't that much incentive to blog nowadays as viewership has gradually dropped to a low (or maybe that's because I don't blog)...hahhaa so who notices this entry anyway?
It's a rainy day at Jurong Island, and maybe that speaks for my mood as well. My close ones will know the usual dilemma I go through, and even though I want to solve problems and get things going, sometimes that's not how life decides for you.
There's a lot of "I know I should have done this" but well, when you miss that moment to do it, it will cause quite a bit of upheaval once it comes back to visit. And yeah, I can see that. But I think I look for my own problems. Haha.
Till next post...

Two months...no updates?
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine, little headache that went on/off for 2 weeks over
[CuRRent Song:] No Song
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Pokka Lemon 1000 Juice Drink
To say I'm too busy updating...ehm that's too much. I think I'm lazy, yeah I'm lazy. Else what can I say? I find time to Maple (I'm at Level 105), find time to play old games (Der Langrisser), find time for studies, going out with frens, get myself drunk...and the endless actions that I do while I still can.
All of a sudden I sound so old eh? Haha...this came as a small reminder when Sujun was telling me about Michelle and Huimei's conversation as the latter commented on Michelle's dressing at work and she was startled she had to go home to get changed. Oh well...I believe her dressing is okay (since SJ did not make a big thing of it) and why would you bother too much while you're still young? Do you have to wait till you're older to realise you wanna wear like the young? That will be a little too late, isn't it? Like what I always hold my views to ladies with assets - if you have it, just flaunt it! Don't take me as though I don't care - I applied that to my first gf as well...because I know that it takes confidence to flaunt and always be certain that it's appreciated.
My recent update says that Michelle's not changing probably. WAHAHAHHAA...cos she kapo-ed Huimei's cardi and wear...hahaha so it still did not beat my point :P
Another thing reflecting past and present is about studies. I'm marvelled at what the will to study can do to oneself. Looking on the examinations that I took, I always thought I could've failed if not for all the study groups that I've conducted - look, when was I so hardworking when I was in poly or sec sch days??? I guess this attributes to the paying factor - that I'm actually paying for my own school fees and wouldn't like to waste money compared to those days which my parents paid for me. True, it sounds like I'm so idiot to waste their money but well, young ma dunno things...now then know money hard to earn...easy to spend!!! Hahaha...so a word to those Poly/Uni students who use parents' CPF to study...MUST STUDY HARD, COS IT'S YOUR MONEY!!! (students need pay back to their parents after they finish studying)
Things at workplace has been fine, sometimes rushing a few quick stuff in order to make people happy...oh well it's a relationship-based company so there's not much I can say isn't it? Hahaha...I just hope they will consider to convert me quickly cos I really cannot stand the pathetic 6 days of leave they give under the contract terms...force me to take MC sia...:P
It's a week study break for me, studying be back on 30th of this month...heard we gonna touch on Oracle...what, another database? It was database that ruined me in my poly days and I'm trying hard not to repeat that...so hopefully I'll pull this one off...with my study grouping, I don't see why I cannot beat all these exams!!! WAHAHAHAHA...*siao liao*
I guess my life in a general state of mind (logical mind) is fine...only my personal life gets screwed and stuff...but oh well, so long I stay sane (which I think so far so good)...I should be able to make my life pass...
...not fail, pass. Haha...
.LuKe.
P.S. Yeah! An update!

Long time eh?
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine
[CuRRent Song:] None - Aircon silent remix
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] KFC
By the time I blog this, it's about the end of CNY already...but nevertheless, happy CNY to all...hahaha
This year's CNY relative visits are not much different, just that I get to see a cousin I've not seen for 2 years (and yeah, knew how to decor herself to look pretty liao - 女大十八变) and my niece (cousin's daughter) already budding into a pretty young cutie! But then she rather shy...unlike my other cousin's daughter who is very adventurous!
My frens as visitors however, is a little disappointing in numbers but the company counts - so I have the following this year:
Celena
Brad (Cellie's bf)
Isabelle
Patricia
Benjamin (the chrysantamum-giver)
'Monica' (dunno her real english name)
Isabelle asked me an out-of-the-blue question which I didn't manage to reply immediately (cos her cab came) but I did give an answer eventually:
Q: How did you (me) feel when you saw Celena and her bf the first time?
A: Like that lor. The time lapse between the time when Celena and I not seen each other (which was around VDay 2007) and the time I saw Celena and Brad personally is really too wide to have any immediate feeling. So I think I'm really ok.
Which is pretty true for a try, I'm not lying in that aspect. The real hit was when I got to know about them being together, which was pretty fortunate I did not see them physically during that period of time.
The thing that I'm not able to accept is not that fact they are together; it's about the fact she said she wanted to concentrate on her career and not think about BGR, but ended up being with him. As a matter of fact, I was rather pissed and furious at that time it made me wonder if we ever did have feelings in the first place.
I don't know how many people would assume in the same manner as me, thinking that the reason she gave was simply an excuse to get me off the hook. Of course, till now I'm not convinced about the reason, neither am I convinced on the counterpart - which is to say, I'm still on the fence.
I never do think people will lie to me, and I don't think she did. The only reason I gave myself was "Love is something you cannot expect". This manner of reasoning still did not give a proper explanation to why they were together, which is why till now I've not fully got over the entire issue, and maybe I've mentioned somewhere in time, this may form an unfinished business sort of matter.
I would rather be told "Sorry, I think I'm not ready for us to be together" rather than given that reason which ended up in a heap of counter-reasoning.
It's interesting I only decide to mention this in this blog about a year after everything had happened. I got reminded the entire event on VDay because I thought I was able to spend VDay somehow with her but ended up not the way I wanted.
Of course, the second time is simply just a procedure - not an actual event. Nevertheless it didn't commence anyway.
On Sunday when she asked if Brad could come, I simply laughed at myself. Maybe everyone thought I'm so darn magnanimous...well maybe in a way but not others. In the end I still said yes...there's no reason to reject her, isn't it?
For some people, maybe I'm already so courageous and "facing the truth" when I said it's ok for him to come over - after all, everyone has a reason to be happy, and everyone deserves to be happy isn't it?
Throughout so many days in time, rarely have I had true happiness these days. I hope I can get it in time. Then to think, with so much things going on, I wonder how am I to get things going.
I can only wish and hope, haha.
Anyway...all of what I said are only reflections of myself. I think Cellie reads my blog time to time, perhaps it's time for her to know what I really think of the events that happened last year. I really don't think I'm any worse than any of the worst guys she bumped into, but of course many things can't be compared this way.
It's just Chemistry.

I really don't think I'm any worse than any of the worst guys she bumped into, but of course many things can't be compared this way.
It's just Chemistry.

Happy New Year 2008?
[CuRRent MooD:] Fine
[CuRRent Song:] None
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Teriyaki Chicken Burger / Pearl Milk Tea
Happy New Year!!!
DUH...to think this is my first post of the year...
Lots of things had taken place in this short span, but in the meanwhile I learnt a lot as well. Well...there's a time for everything to take place and shape up.
I'm already in Jacobs for about 6 weeks, things has been fine so far. More to come I hope.
Take care everyone!

Final post of the year?
[CuRRent MooD:] Bored
[CuRRent Song:] None
[Last FooD/BeveRage:] Curry Chicken + Rice / Pineapple drink
Wow...waiting for time to pass...waiting for manager to say "ok you guys OTOT disappear"...zzz but have anot wait until now still no sound lor...
Anyway in my absolute boredom, I coined a most stupid word...
"sobor", means very bored (very boring)
"It has been sobor since morning..."
If "sobor" is a verb, the past tense will be "sobored".
Noticed how I coined the word? LOL.
Anyway, Happy New Year!
